DRM-buster DVD Jon has reverse-engineered Apple's Fairplay and licensing it to companies who want their media to play on Apple's devices. Instead of breaking the DRM (something he'ss already done), Jon has replicated it, and wants to license the technology to companies that want their content (music, movies, whatever) to play on Apple devices.

Anti-DRM Action Day on October 3 [Today]
The best way to defeat DRM may well be to cause it to fail in the market, and the first step in that direction is to make people aware of the scope of the problem. To that end, Defective By Design is putting together a day of anti-DRM activities for October 3. The list of actions covers four pages and is worldwide in scope.
